Amazing Time!!!

The children are having an amazing seeing the sights of Melbourne and experiencing school life at another school. Unfortunately we don't have wifi in our apartment so have been unable to add to the blog regularly.

Our week is fast coming to an end and I know the children have had fun blogging and are going to have some more wonderful stories to share when we get home.

We have arrived safely. It was lovely to see how the children quickly disappeared with their billets. The children were so excited catching up with old friends. I know they are going to have a great week.

Two More Sleeps

After months of planning we are nearly off on our adventure to spend a week at our sister school.  We are going to have a fun two days out of school exploring the sites of Melbourne with them.

I had a trial run of getting up early this morning by getting up a 4:45am to attend an ANZAC Dawn Service. Very moving. Sunday will still be earlier as we all need to be at the airport at 4:30am.  Hope no one sleeps in!!!!

The children are going to have a great time attending a different school and making new friends with their host families.

Excitement is Building

Now the children know who their billets will be they have been busy contacting each other.  The children can't wait to go and are really looking forward to finding out where their excursion days will take them.
